Jadon Sancho still out; Cole Palmer not back in training either
Today at 10:57 PM
Oh boy
Jadon Sancho is set to miss his fifth straight game when tonight's UEFA Conference League tie against FC Noah kicks off, as he continues to deal with an unspecified illness (in addition to a knock as well as our usual rotation policy).
The Manchester United loanee hasn't played since starting our 2-1 defeat at Anfield last month, and he's also doubtful for the weekend's big test at home against Arsenal — though Enzo Maresca probably wasn't counting on him to start in that game anyway.
"He is recovering from that [illness]. He had a knock in the session, so we will see. For tomorrow, he is out but we will see for Sunday's game, otherwise it will be after the international break."
Unfortunately the news isn't too much better on Cole Palmer either, and Maresca, and all the rest of us, are most definitely is counting on him against Arsenal.
"He didn't train yesterday, so we will see today if he is able to train with us."
"We hope [he will be ready for Arsenal]. But we need to wait, we need to see and then decide. [It will be a risk either way], for sure."

We have the last international break of the calendar year after the Arsenal match, so perhaps we can factor that into our risk assessment. No need to sacrifice the rest of the season for just one match (even a match against a top-four rival).
