Juventus propose Veiga loan; Chelsea ask about Douglas Luiz in return — reports

Wheeling and dealing?
Juventus are one of several teams credited with interest in Renato Veiga, and according to Fabrizio Romano, they have followed up that interest with a loan offer today. They're proposing a simple loan, a "dry" loan if you will, without any future considerations or clauses. This might suit Veiga himself, but Chelsea are said to be interested only in an actual transfer or a loan with an obligatory purchase clause.
That said, we might also be interested in more creative solutions, such as perhaps getting Douglas Luiz in return. The former Aston Villa midfielder, who could certainly help shore up our numbers at the position, has not had a good time in Turin since moving there in the summer, and is apparently on the market and available. However, in an ironic twist, Juventus are not interested in a "dry" loan, but want an actual transfer or a loan with an obligatory purchase clause.
Who's their sporting director, Alanis Morissette?
Chelsea did ask on the conditions of loaning Douglas Luiz to the end of the season but do not want to pay a big fee or commit to an obligation, which Juventus are demanding. There is other PL interest in Luiz. https://t.co/JVkF3Fk4Qu
