Napoli 'showing interest' in Chelsea defender Renato Veiga — report

Uh huh
Versatile Chelsea defender Renato Veiga is supposedly on the radar of Serie A title-contenders SSC Napoli, at least according to a missive from The Transfer Oracle himself, Fabrizio Romano.
Romano's brief dispatch lacks any real substance, and has plenty of room for error regardless of the outcome, but it claims that Napoli are "showing interest" while it's "unclear" if Chelsea would entertain such an idea.
Considering our recent injuries in defense and Veiga's versatility, it seems quite unlikely that we would indeed entertain it, though the 21-year-old recently found himself in Enzo Maresca's doghouse, seemingly due to some unseriousness in training, so perhaps that increases the likelihood of there being some substance to this speculation.
Speaking of which, a calciomercatospecial adds that Juventus and ... Vfb Stuttgart? ... may also be interested, but that Veiga is focused on his current situation, which presumably means he wouldn't be interested in leaving Chelsea just six months after arriving. He's made 17 appearances and amassed over 1000 minutes across all competitions already, chipping in with two goals and an assist in the UEFA Conference League, while becoming a regular Portugal international as well.
Napoli have been showing interest in Chelsea defender Renato Veiga as an option for the January window on loan.

There are more clubs interest… but still unclear whether Chelsea can let him go playing more or not.
