Excellent news

Chelsea may not be scheduled to play for another week yet — next Thursday against Spurs will be our first game once ths break is over — but players not currently on international duty have reconvened this week at Cobham to keep up their fitness levels and begin preparations for that derby as well.

Among those spotted on the training has been Nicolas Jackson, with the official website confirming that he was out "on the grass" today (Wednesday) while reminding that us that head coach Enzo Maresca has been hoping that Nico "would be close to a comeback after this international break".

And that would indeed be a great boost as Chelsea have struggled not just for goals but for attacking fluency in Jackson's now nearly two-month-long absence. He's not played since the start of February, missing five Premier League games in which we've managed to score just one goal against teams not in the bottom-two.

Unfortunately, there's been no word on Noni Madueke's status.
