Last week, we covered claims from Belgium which stated Chelsea are one of the clubs in the picture to sign Kalmar FF’s Vince Osuji in the winter market.
Kalmar sporting director Jörgen Petersson had also stated several clubs have registered their interest in the Nigeran but refused to reveal their details.
All Nigeria Soccer relay claims made about Chelsea’s interest in the 18-year-old and then provide their own take on this case.
The centre-back joined the Swedish club in April and signed a deal until December 2028. Osuji made 15 league appearances this year, with Kalmar were relegated from the top division.
His future could be away from Kalmar, who are expected to lose the player in January. The outlet states Osuji is ‘not moving to Stamford Bridge’ and with that, a dream move to the Premier League side is ruled out.
Chelsea are owned by BlueCo, who also own RC Strasbourg, and the report says the Ligue 1 side are keen on signing the defender.
In addition to the French club, Slavia Prague, Bayer Leverkusen, Anderlecht, Club Brugge, FC Dallas and FC Cincinnati are also interested in signing the youngster, who is valued at €5m.
