Renato Veiga wants to leave Chelsea only for a little bit — report

Just a little break
Renato Veiga wants to play center back so badly that he would be willing to leave Chelsea in January, but not nearly so badly that he would be willing to leave Chelsea for good. He only wants a little break, just a few months, just to make all our hearts grow a little fonder. This worked out for Ross and Rachel in the end, so why not us.
That's the latest twist in this growing saga, as reported by twist-master himself, Fabrizio Romano.
So where does that leave us? Nowhere clear.
Chelsea aren't interested in playing the loan game. Borussia Dortmund may or may not be willing to meet our asking price (starting around £20m, up to €30m all-in), but we seem quite adamant in not wanting any sort of temporary arrangement. He either stays or goes; nothing in-between. Thanks for all the fishies.
Plenty of time left for any further changes of heart, and those shouldn't be ruled out given Veiga's youthful confusion about his career path (maybe hire a proper agent instead of daddy dearest?) and given our sporting directors' penchant for ad-hoc decision-making.
Understand Renato Veiga's now rejecting permanent move away from Chelsea.

He's only keen on a loan move in January to join another top club to play for 6 months as CB, with BVB leading the race.
