Cole Palmer stole all the headlines at the weekend – inevitably – meaning that Jadon Sancho's continued impact at Chelsea was a little forgotten.

He picked up another assist – his third in three games – and continues to be Enzo Maresca's first choice out on the left.

It wasn't a dominant showing, but he looked handy and you can see the qualities which once made him one of the most in demand young players in Europe.

"Sancho's smiling, happy in his surroundings" Darren Bent pointed out on TalkSport as he explained why he thought things were improving for him already. It's certainly a really positive start, and we hope that as he settles in he can get better and better. As long as Palmer is in the team he doesn't have to be a match winner just a consistent presence helping us to break down defensive teams.
