Good luck, Potter

After a nearly two-year sabbatical, much of it paid, Graham Potter is back in the game, having been appointed as the new head coach of West Ham United yesterday, on a 2.5-year contract. Usual cohorts Bruno "Interim For A Day" Saltor and Billy Reid have also joined as his assistants.

West Ham sacked Julen Lopetegui the day prior after just 22 games in charge. Potter lasted 31 games at Chelsea back in 2022-23. Premier League football ain't waiting around for no man.

According to West Ham's official account, Potter spent the last two years "studying the game". Recharged and well rested, he's ready to put all that theory into action and build upon the solid "bedrock" of the Irons' foundation. Or some such. How about that Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, eh, G-Money?

We play against West Ham on February 3rd at the Olympic Stadium. That's always a big game for them, and it just might've gotten a bit more interesting.
