Mike Jones has said he is desperate to be involved in another promotion as he enters his 18th year as a professional footballer. He expressed his hunger to experience that "promotion feeling" at least one more time – no matter what role he plays in it. He said: "Honestly, there is no better feeling in football than getting promoted. "It's a feeling I can't describe to anyone; I can't even begin to express how hungry I am to feel it again. “You don't get that many chances in football to be part of a promotion-winning side, and it's something I want one more time, at least. "My time at this club has been absolutely fantastic, and I'm desperate to get another promotion with this club. "I don't mind what my role is within that, I just want to be part of it and help in any way I can to see this club climb the leagues. "I love it here; to gain another promotion as part of this side would be something special, and it's something I have a real desire to do."
