"I think the manager can bring a lot to my game and help me improve"

New signing Jack Sparkes shared his feelings on joining the club, saying:  "I’m really happy. It’s been on the go probably for the last week or so, so I'm really happy to get it done and join up with the new lads. "I'm a full-back that likes to get forward. I think my main strength is putting balls into the box and my crossing, so I’ll be looking to do that.” Speaking on his title-winning season with Portsmouth last campaign, Jack added: "The manager has made it clear that we’re going for promotion so it's a no-brainer for me to come here and try and do that. "He really wanted to sign me so that’s a big indicator that he obviously likes me and wants to be here so when you feel that kind of love from a manager then it obviously makes you want to sign. "I had a really good year at Portsmouth, can’t speak highly enough of what happened there and the manager, so I’m looking forward to obviously getting settled in.
