Spireites capture full-back on loan

Jack Sparkes has signed for the club on a loan deal from Peterborough United until the end of the season. After playing an important role in Portsmouth's League One title-winning season, he linked up with Darren Ferguson's Peterborough side in the summer and has featured 21 times in the league for the Posh. With over 200 senior appearances to his name, the 24-year-old brings a wealth of experience for his age and an attacking nature to his game. After agreeing to sign, he said: "I think the manager can bring a lot to my game and help me improve. "We want to get promoted, that's the reason I've come here."
