Assistant manager Danny Webb gave his thoughts ahead of the Spireites' Vertu Trophy Round of 16 game against Rotherham on Tuesday evening (7pm), saying: "It's been really frustrating with the lack of training, but we're not the only ones. I think even the 4G astroturf pitches have been covered in snow and places are very reluctant to remove that snow. "So then you're looking at gym work and outdoor runs. We took the lads for a canal run yesterday led by Gary Roberts, so you try and find ways to help them tick over." "We would have liked to have gone into the off period with some good results, because it makes the break a little bit easier to take. We want to get back to winning ways and hopefully that starts against Rotherham." Speaking about the capture of Janoi Denacien and Bim Pepple, Danny added: "It's really pleasing. There's often questions about incomings and targets etc and these are two lads that have come up on the radar.
