Last month, we covered claims from Sweden that Celtic are keen on signing Bazoumana Touré. Brendan Rodgers’ side aren’t alone as Crystal Palace and other clubs are also chasing the Hammarby IF player.

That’s at least what Fotboll Direkt are reporting. They state Celtic, Crystal Palace, Bayer Leverkusen, Eintracht Frankfurt and Benfica are all interested in the forward.

Touré arrived at Hammarby from Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in March. He has already impressed for the Swedish club, scoring six goals and registering three assists from 18 league games.

Fotboll Direkt say after a ‘very strong development’, the 18-year-old is now ‘growing like crazy’ at Hammarby. This hasn’t gone unnoticed as Celtic, Crystal Palace and others are keeping close tabs on him.

Last weekend, the 18-year-old played 86 minutes in his side’s 1-0 defeat to AIK Fotboll. The report states Brendan Rodgers’ side, the Eagles and four other clubs all had scouts in attendance to follow the youngster.

The Ivory Coast U20 international’s deal lasts until December 2028. As per Transfermarkt, he’s currently the most valued Allsvenskan player at €6m. The report points that out and adds that Hammarby want around €10m for Touré.
