EFL CUP FORM

Last season Palace left the competition at the Third Round stage at the hands of Manchester United at Old Trafford while QPR had lost out to Norwich City in the First Round.

The two sides last met each other in a cup competition back in November 1991 when Palace travelled to take on QPR at Loftus Road and managed to progress in the Full Members Cup after a 3-2 victory. Before that, you have to go back to March 1982 where QPR beat Palace 1-0 in the FA Cup.

QPR reached the Third Round this season by beating Luton Town 4-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Loftus Road.

ONE TO WATCH

KARAMOKO DEMBELE
FORMER CLUBS – Park Villa Boys Club, Celtic, Brest, Blackpool (loan)
The 21 year old winger is currently on loan at QPR after joining in the summer and has had an exciting start to the season. The former Celtic man joins from Brest but he was born in Lambeth. South London.

KEY CLASH

QPR v PALACE
Once again, considering how teams approach this competition, it is rather difficult to predict a key clash for this cup tie but it is expected that Oliver Glasner will put out a string side.

TEB PREDICTION

With the hope that the Eagles continue to take the competition seriously, and there is no reason not to believe Oliver Glasner and his approach, there should be a strong side taken across London to take on QPR who are in good form in the Championship. It will not be an easy game under the lights at Loftus Road but we are hoping to see Palace in the draw for the Fourth Round for the first time for a few seasons.

FINAL SCORE: 2-0 to Palace
