Everton make enquiry for former Tottenham player – Club happy to listen to all offers

Everton have enquired about AC Milan's Emerson Royal in the last few hours, while Fulham have a 'confirmed' interest in the Brazilian too.
That's according to journalist Matteo Moretto, who says the Italian club will listen to any proposals for the Brazilian full-back.
Royal joined Milan from Tottenham in the summer but has had a difficult time in Serie A since his arrival. He had hoped to turn a corner under Sergio Conceicao but has again found himself facing criticism.
Milan are keen to move him on this month and Moretto now reports that Everton have enquired about his situation. The Italians have made it clear that they will listen to any offers for the player. It is this, given Everton's financial situation, which has likely led to their enquiry.
Moretto does point out that Milan are also in negotiations with Galatasaray for the defender. In fact, new contacts are expected soon to try and advance those. Fulham's interest in Emerson Royal is also 'confirmed'.
Everton's right-back problems are well known at this point, but most would question whether the former Tottenham man is the answer to them. He certainly seems an ill-fit for a David Moyes side, at least on paper.
It's also debatable whether he'd want the move, given Everton's current relegation battle and the potential other offers on the table.
Still, Moretto insists an enquiry has been made and it may be one to keep an eye on moving forwards.
