Everton sent a scout to Denmark to follow Randers FC’s league win over Brøndby IF on Monday.
That’s according to Tipsbladet, who state the Everton official was at the Randers Stadium during their 4-2 win over Brøndby.
Over the past few weeks, several clubs have had scouts in Denmark to follow some of the Superliga players.
On Monday, Everton, the Red Bull Group, Feyenoord and Borussia Mönchengladbach all had representatives in attendance at Randers’ home stadium.
Tipsbladet haven’t specified the player[s] the Toffees or the other clubs came to watch. They do state Brøndby’s Mathias Kvistgaarden, Yuito Suzuki and Nicolai Vallys, along with Randers’ Simen Bolkan Nordli, are ‘clearly interesting’ to foreign clubs.
These four players are ‘realistic transfer targets’ for several clubs in the summer window. The report further adds Kvistgaarden is expected to be sold by his side after this season.
This would suggest the Everton official was following these players yesterday.
Suzuki assisted Vallys’ equaliser in the 54th minute after Mohamed Touré gave Rangers the lead at the start of the second half. Vallys then assisted Brøndby’s second goal which was scored by Jordi Vanlerberghe.
