Everton were one of the sides with a scout in attendance to watch Porto take on Olympiacos in the Europa League this week.

That's according to Record, who say Everton were among a host of clubs across Europe to have an 'emissary' at Dragão for the game.

Everton were reportedly one of eight Premier League teams to send a representative to the game, while Marseille, Atletico Madrid, Sevilla and Bayer Leverkusen also has someone there to watch the game.

The newspaper makes no mention of who Everton or other others may have been in attendance to watch, just that they were there.

Those scouts watched a 1-0 win for Olympiacos thanks to an Ayoub El Kaabi strike in the 79th minute.

El Kaabi was undoubtedly the standout performer thanks to his goal, but Who Scored had 18-year-old Christos Mouzakitis as the top performer in the game with a rating of 7.87. He also bagged the assist for the goal.

El Kaabi was next with a score of 7.54 and followed by David Carmo, (7.5), Panagiotis Retsos (7.41) and Rodinei (7.4). Nico Gonzalez topped the charts for Porto with a score of 6.89. Winger Pepe followed with a score of 6.75 while Joao Mario was third with 6.74. Tiago Djaló and Francisco Moura completed their top five with a score 6.72.

Whether any of them were of interest to Everton remains to be seen but they had a scout in attendance nonetheless so it's something to consider before the end of the transfer window.
