It never rains when it comes to Nottingham Forest and injuries, it constantly pours down in bucket-loads.

Just 10 minutes into the current campaign, Forest were robbed of Danilo who suffered a broken ankle.

A month after, Forest lost Ibrahim Sangare to injury and it’s been a battle to get players fit since the club returned to the Premier League in 2022.

Against Chelsea on Sunday afternoon, Morgan Gibbs-White had to be replaced after twisting funny on his ankle whilst taking a shot.

The international break is now upon us and thankfully, that does give the player a chance to rest if it does mean he’s going to miss out on England duty.

Gibbs-White might not have been the only player to have left Stamford Bridge with an injury and another player might need some treatment too.

What Callum Hudson-Odoi was spotted doing after Nottingham Forest clash with Chelsea

The Reds had Hudson-Odoi in their starting eleven after he was left on the bench for the last game against Fulham.

It was the first time that he’d returned to Chelsea after Forest poached him for £5 million in the summer of 2023 on transfer deadline day.

Hudson-Odoi doesn’t have the most spectacular record with injuries and an eagle-eyed supporter spotted something after the game.

Jamie Martin is a commentator at the City Ground on matchday and he posted on X: “Hudson-Odoi leg wrapped and with a slight limp post-match. Hopefully nothing too bad.”

International break has come at a good time for Nottingham Forest

This is a positive result for Forest to take into the international break and the club remains undefeated away from the City Ground.

It’s quite amazing that Forest have played Liverpool, Brighton and Chelsea away from home and not yet tasted defeat.

Hudson-Odoi has been integral this season – scoring the winner against Liverpool – and he will be monitored closely during the international break.

The 23-year-old has been an important player under Nuno Espirito Santo and he will hope that some ice and some rest can see the player avoid an injury.

Hudson-Odoi makes some fans nervous when it comes to injuries and the hope will be that this is just a bit of muscle fatigue and nothing more sinister.
