Nottingham Forest defeated Brentford 2-0 on Saturday to maintain a superb run of form that has seen the Reds win three on the trot.

Nuno Espirito Santo was praised by Brian Laws as he made the decision to go with three central defenders during the contest.

Anthony Elanga got his second goal in as many games, with Ola Aina scoring the first Forest goal at the Gtech Community Stadium.

Elanga claimed afterwards that Jermain Defoe has been texting him advice on what to do when he gets in the box and clearly it’s paying dividends.

Callum Hudson-Odoi posts on Instagram after Forest win

Instagram is often awash with Forest stars after a positive result and yesterday was no different.

Morgan Gibbs-White hailed Harry Toffolo after he came on for a very short cameo at the end of the contest.

After the win, Hudson-Odoi posted: “Another day, another victory, another three points! Big performance from the lads.”

Hudson-Odoi was in fine form for the Reds and he’s really starting to showcase the sort of performances that made him hot property when he came through the ranks at Chelsea.

The two players were both in fine form and it proved to be a very positive Forest performance in West London.

Elanga posted on Hudson-Odoi’s post: “Very sharp.”

Whilst Aina kept it even shorter and sweeter, simply saying, ‘Playaa’, on his post to the Reds fan base.

It’s great to see that the dressing room at the City Ground looks to be united behind each other and the results are starting to flow now.

With Elanga and Hudson-Odoi working well in tandem, there is no reason why the current form can’t continue a little whilst longer.
