Nottingham Forest are set to return to Premier League action with a trip to the Emirates to face Arsenal, and David Seaman has given his prediction.

Arsenal face a wait to see if Bukayo Saka will be fit, whilst Declan Rice’s availability is also uncertain.

It’s a different story for Nottingham Forest, who are only without Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo for the clash, which won’t have any effect as they’ve been sidelined for months.

Nuno Espirito Santo has another team selection headache, as Elliot Anderson could find himself on the substitutes’ bench once again if Morgan Gibbs-White and Nicolas Dominguez are preferred.

Interestingly, former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman has taken a cheeky dig at Nottingham Forest as he gave his prediction for Saturday’s clash.

David Seaman makes his prediction for Arsenal vs Nottingham Forest

David Seaman is an Arsenal legend. He amassed three league titles, four FA Cups, one League, a Cup Winners Cup, and three charity Shields, as well as being England's second most capped goalkeeper.

He’s now trying his hand at podcasts and punditry, starting up his own show called Seaman Says.

When speaking on his podcast ahead of the clash, he took a cheeky dig at Nottingham Forest for normally being an easy six points, but he wasn’t so confident on a win this weekend.

Seaman says.

“If Declan is fit and Bukayo is fit then we are more or less at full strength, and at home yeah you know so we should.”

Mike Phelan replies.

So it’s a 4-0 win then yeah.”

The former goalkeeper then responded.

“Nottingham Forest is always like six points anyway. Not anymore.”

Nottingham Forest can’t afford to take their foot off the gas

This weekend’s clash with Arsenal is the first of a long line of tests.

The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United and Aston Villa are all coming up during the month of December, so if Forest are serious about a European spot they’ll need to make those games count.

Nuno Espirito Santo has already set up a tactical masterclass for Liverpool, as the only side to beat them so far this season.

Manchester City and Arsenal haven’t been at their best this season, so this may just be the perfect time to play them, but it won’t be easy.
