As the song goes, Nottingham Forest are magic on and off the pitch.

Over the years, that hasn’t always been the case when it comes to off-field affairs but things are definitely improving.

Evangelos Marinakis has worked tirelessly to get the club back to the Premier League.

He spent years trying desperately to hit the jackpot and after appointing Steve Cooper in 2021 he was eventually richly rewarded.

Now, Forest have started the 2024/25 campaign well under Nuno Espirito Santo and sit fifth in the Premier League.

Forest are trying to do good things away from the pitch too, with Harry Toffolo seemingly a good character within the dressing room.

Harry Toffolo raves about Nottingham Forest talent for off-field performance

Forest aren’t just trying to create a solid base of footballers but the club is also looking to invest in good people.

Toffolo is often the first member of the squad to put himself forward to go out into the community and represent the football club.

This season he has been attending meetings with Bottled up Blokes – a charity designed for men to open up and talk about mental health matters.

Toffolo has represented the club well with this organisation and at the recent meeting he took young starlet Zach Abbott along with him.

After that experience, Toffolo has raved about the youngster, posting on X: “Zach’s maturity was incredible when he went to @BottledUpBlokes – a true credit to the academy and the football club. Loved every second of this and was able to interact with familiar faces.”

Toffolo has been a true professional during his time at Forest

It’s fair to say that Toffolo was signed from Huddersfield as a solid backup option and a very useful squad player.

In the first two seasons as a Premier League club, Toffolo has served a purpose and had some good performances in the team.

Sadly, he’s not considered in favour at the moment, with Alex Moreno starring in the left-back position.

Still, Toffolo isn’t sulking around the place and will be ready should he be called upon this season.

It’s great to see that Abbott is slotting in with the ethos of the squad nicely too and hopefully, the FA Cup might give him a chance to get some minutes this season.
