Nottingham Forest fans will have been looking forward to the new release of the latest EAFC game with the 2025 edition now out in the shops.

Not only fans, but in the modern era lots of professional players like to spend their spare time playing video games – with EAFC a firm favourite.

The long-running series always gets fans excited and with Forest now in the Premier League, it’s possible to play games at the City Ground.

As a football fan, it’s always nice to see your club evolve to the point of being included in these global games and for another instalment Forest are available to play in the Premier League.

Murillo spotted playing EAFC but not as Nottingham Forest

The Brazilian defender is one of several players in the Forest dressing room who enjoys an hour or two on the game’s console when training and matches aren’t taking priority.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is another who loves to play games, whilst Anthony Elanga has also stated before that he plays the game.

Now, Murillo has been spotted on his Instagram playing EAFC25 on a huge screen in his house – but he wasn’t playing as Nottingham Forest.

Instead, he was using Manchester City to try out the new game and there’s a nice thought that he was merely doing as much to get used to the new game and its features.

Intriguingly, Murillo almost signed for Manchester City before a £10.6 million move to Forest – and it’s likely they’re still watching him very closely.

Forest must enjoy Murillo before inevitable transfer happens

It’s quite remarkable that Forest managed to keep Murillo for a second successive season on Trentside.

Staying in the Premier League clearly helped and ultimately, Forest did extremely well to meet PSR criteria and keep hold of the better players.

Murillo has truly taken to the Premier League with aplomb and he will be extremely keen to continue playing well.

Sadly from a Forest perspective, it’s only going to be a matter of time before he’s inevitably sold and the club must enjoy him while they can.

A host of top European clubs have been linked with Murillo and after playing as them on EAFC 25, perhaps he’s hoping Manchester City come forward in the future.
