Nottingham Forest had a number of players away on international duty over the past two weeks, and Nuno Espirito Santo has now dropped a hint on them regarding the Arsenal clash.

Murillo enjoyed his first call-up to the Brazilian national side after all his hard work in the first 11 games of the Premier League season, whilst Morgan Gibbs-White grabbed an assist with England.

Ola Aina returned home early from being away with Nigeria due to a slightly injury worry, but he seems to be fine and has been training this week.

Danilo’s progress is one to keep an eye on after returning to training from a long-term injury, but he likely won’t play a part in the matchday squad for a number of weeks.

With Arsenal up next in the Premier League, Nuno Espirito Santo has dropped a hint on the Nottingham Forest team news, specifically around the international players.

Nottingham Forest team news hint dropped by Nuno Espirito Santo ahead of Arsenal

Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Riccardo Calafiori and Leandro Trossard are all training ahead of the Nottingham Forest clash, so it could be a full-strength Arsenal side.

Elliot Anderson didn’t join up with the England Under-21 squad, so we wait to see what the situation is with him tomorrow, with a place on the substitutes’ bench likely.

Nuno provided a little hint on what he plans to do with the international players who may be jet lagged after time away during the break.

Murillo, Ramon Sosa and Chris Wood all travelled from afar.

Nottingham Forest predicted lineup against Arsenal

Despite Nuno Espirito Santo’s comments, he’ll likely go with the same side that faced Newcastle.

Matz Sels, Ola Aina, Murillo, Nikola Milenkovic and Alex Moreno will operate as the back five, though Aina did suffer a slight injury during the international break.

Elliot Anderson could be the man to miss out in midfield once again, as he didn’t end up going away with the England Under-21 side.

Anthony Elanga, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Chris Wood will be leading the attack.
