Nottingham Forest are on the cusp of something extremely special with the club sitting in third place in the Premier League.
The Reds have 37 points from 19 games and at the halfway point of the campaign, things are looking extremely rosy indeed.
Nuno Espirito Santo has won praise from Jamie Redknapp this season and he’s doing a wonderful job in charge of the Reds at the moment.
Evangelos Marinakis considered sacking Espirito Santo on two occasions last season but now he’s been well and truly justified in his decision to stick.
With European football now a genuine target for the campaign, however, the Reds can look forward to the second half of the campaign with a platform to build from.

Evangelos Marinakis makes big promise to Nuno Espirito Santo
European football would make for an unreal campaign from a Forest perspective with very few predicting that outcome before a ball was kicked.
The consensus was that progress could be made this season and not being in a relegation battle would have been deemed a successful campaign.
Now, however, there is genuine hope that European football can be on the radar next season and any of the three competitions would be just incredible.
According to the Daily Mail, Marinakis is keen to reward the people at the football club should European football be secured.
It’s believed that Espirito Santo will be in line for a huge cash incentive if he leads Forest back into Europe for the first time since 1996.
His contract includes a big incentive for him to qualify for Europe with a cash bounty due should the Reds finish in a position to achieve the unthinkable.
Forest fans will hold memories of 1995/96 European adventure
For fans of a certain age, memories of winning back-to-back European trophies will live long in the memory.
However, some others might remember the 1995/96 campaign instead when Frank Clark took Forest to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Cup.
It was a memorable journey with some really entertaining matches taking place at the City Ground during the run to the last eight.

As fans we really are in dreamland at the moment and it’s impossible not to imagine what things might be like next season if European football is secured.
