Report: Nottingham Forest told to sign £7m Leeds United star in January amid Andrew Omobamidele links

Nottingham Forest will be looking to strengthen their European bid in January, with a Leeds United player being suggested.
Evangelos Marinakis has already revealed his plans to invest in January, with the chance to achieve his dream of bringing the glory days back to Nottingham Forest.
Nuno Espirito Santo will be reluctant to change things at Forest, given how well things have gone so far this season, but squad depth is important.
The January transfer window won’t necessarily be a time to improve on the starting XI, more bringing in experience and quality to make sure the Reds are fully stocked.
Interestingly, Marinakis has been told he should make a move for a Leeds United player in January.
Nottingham Forest told to sign Ethan Ampadu in January
Leeds United have been linked with a move for Andrew Omobamidele in January, as he looks to secure regular minutes after a tough time at the City Ground.
Murillo and Nikola Milenkovic have been unmovable at the heart of the defence this season, which has made it impossible for Omobamidele or any other centre-back to make inroads.
ESPN Brazil have suggested Nottingham Forest should make a move for Ethan Ampadu in the January transfer market, with Ian Darke making the comment.
It states, ‘They should consider Leeds United’s versatile Ethan Ampadu – he can play in defence or midfield – or Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba.’
Edmond Tapsoba another interesting option
Edmond Tapsoba has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in the past due to his performances at Bayer Leverkusen in recent years.
He’s 25 years old with plenty of Champions League experience, as a regular for the German club under Liverpool legend Xabi Alonso.
It’s the type of signing that would signal the improvements Forest have made this season, with a chance of securing European football themselves.
There’s not a desperate need for a centre-back right now, with Willy Boly, Andrew Omobamidele and Morato in Forest’s ranks, but he’s good enough to put pressure on Milenkovic and Murillo.
