Nottingham Forest have gained lots of new admirers this season with the team on course to play in next season’s Champions League.
The Reds are sitting pretty in third place in the Premier League during the 2024/25 campaign and have a seven-point gap to the team in sixth place.

Saturday saw the Reds avoid the potential banana skin that is Ipswich Town as Nuno Espirito Santo left Portman Road with a 4-2 win.
Nikola Milenkovic and Anthony Elanga were in fine form, with both players getting on the scoresheet in East Anglia.
Several Forest stars will now head off on international duty and that has given plenty of pundits the chance to deliver their verdicts on who the Manager of the Year might be.
Simon Jordan picks Premier League Manager of the Year
Nuno Espirito Santo is going to be in the mix it would seem, with Arne Slot and Eddie Howe also going to be in the mix for the accolade.
After Saturday’s win for Forest over Ipswich, TalkSPORT decided to have a discussion on who might be the Manager of the Year when all is said and done this season.
Jordan has been very complimentary of the club in the past, and he’s praised the team once again. Forest head coach Espirito Santo is firmly in the pundit’s thoughts.
He said: “If they get into the Champions League by finishing third in the league I think you’re going to have to give it to Nuno Espirito Santo, especially because I said they were going to get relegated at the start of the season.
“I think what he’s done with that group of players is remarkable. They’re a remarkable football club in the first place, they’ve got remarkable fans and I’ve always felt that whenever I’ve gone there, the history that Clough brought to this local provincial football club was remarkable.
“The fact that they’re going to finish third is a tribute to him, the ownership model that has supported him, the players, the fans, it’s brilliant, absolutely brilliant.”
Nuno would richly deserve Manager of the Year
Given there was uncertainty over the team’s status as a Premier League club this time last year, it’s remarkable how far the Reds have come this season.
Forest are a club firmly on the up at the moment and there really is a superb togetherness on the banks of the River Trent right now.
Manager of the Year perhaps should go with a man who has won something but Espirito Santo getting Forest into the Champions League would likely topple any other achievement made by another manager this season.
In our view, Espirito Santo would be richly deserving of this accolade. Forest have to finish the job first but if they get into the Champions League, the head coach and the players deserve every credit that comes their way.
