Nottingham Forest beat Sheffield United 3-1 on Saturday but in the 45th minute, Willy Boly was less than impressed with one teammate.

The Reds never make things easy – and there were no exceptions against the Blades who were already relegated.

Forest fell behind after Ben Brereton Diaz scored from the penalty spot and the Reds fan base might have been fearing the worst.

Instead, Forest dug in, remained in the contest and scored three goals through a Callum Hudson-Odoi brace and a first Premier League goal for Ryan Yates.

It was pretty comfortable in the end but United definitely made Forest sweat in the first half.

The Reds were only behind for 10 minutes of the contest but they were forced to go in at half-time on level pegging.

On the stroke of half-time, Boly was spotted reading the riot act to one of his teammates after some pretty mediocre defending.

Willy Boly seen shouting at Forest star Murillo in 45th minute of win

He doesn’t get much wrong but on Saturday, Murillo was in the firing line of Boly as Forest headed into the break level.

Some wayward defending had seen Forest forced into some unnecessary defending and Boly wasn’t happy.

After a strong save from Matz Sels from Cameron Archer, Boly was seen giving a rocket to Murillo.

The Brazilian – courted by Manchester City before signing for Forest – was fit to return after going off injured against the champions last week.

Clearly, Boly’s words had an impact on Murillo because he was brilliant during the match.

Who Scored showed that he made five clearances, won four interceptions and also blocked three shots.

Murillo has high standards and he’s going to the top

In our view, Forest are going to struggle to keep hold of Murillo beyond the summer.

He’s going to fetch some serious profit on the £10.4 million that Forest paid for him last summer.

The reason Boly had a go at him is he’s probably aware of the high standards that Murillo has worked to this season.

The 33-year-old wouldn’t be a bad role model for Murillo and had he been fit more often this season, Forest would probably have stayed up easier.

A lack of leaders has often been cited by the fan base during 2023/24 but in Boly, they do have an inspirational player.

It would be amazing to think that Murillo could have another season at Forest but we just feel like it’s highly unlikely.

The challenge for the club is to get the very best deal for a player who looks destined to play at the very top of the game.
