Fulham reject Bayern's £38m offer for Palhinha

Fulham have rejected a third bid from Bayern Munich – believed to be in the region of £38m – for Joao Palhinha.

Sky Germany are reporting that whilst the German giants would still like to sign the Portuguese midfielder, they are beginning to consider alternatives for the defensive midfield slot in Vincent Kompany’s side. This follows recent reporting in the German press that Bayern would not pay beyond £38m for the 28 year-old.

Fulham value Palhinha at around £60m and see no reason to drop their valuation after the Premier League’s top tackler for the past two seasons extended his Craven Cottage contract only a matter of weeks after his proposed move to Munich fell through last September.
