Well, it didn’t take long for the Ibrox side to return to their rightful place, did it?
A history making away victory over European heavyweights Malmö has set them right back on track.
Following John Gilligan’s lisping moonbeam sales earlier in the week, the Ibrox side finally exacted revenge on the side that killed off the old club’s hopes of survival back in 2012.
Scotland’s most handsome footballer, Ross McCausland, capped off a wonderful night of retribution to fix his floundering side’s season in one night with a spectacular goal.
The guys at the Record just couldn’t contain their excitement!
This morning we’ve been treated to no less than 10 articles relating to this famous victory.
We’ve also had the Village idiot rowing in in the Sun, stating “R*****S are on their way”, and urging them to go all the way to the final in Bilbao.

He has even gone as far as tipping his former team to go all the way to the final as he urged fans to start booking tickets to Bilbao after the game ended.

And you know what’s worse?
You probably will get some Ibrox idiots looking at booking tickets for Bilbao based an that single performance last night.
The coverage of this victory is off the scale.
Celtic did not get his level of coverage after their 5-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava.
But hey, it was only lowly Slovan Bratislava, so nothing much to brag about there.
I’m sure those Ibrox loving hacks are sharpening the knives for next Tuesday night in anticipation of the tanking they’re expecting us to get at Dortmund.
And of course, we’ll all be reminded of the heroics the Ibrox side performed there a couple of years ago in the Europa League.
In reality, they came up against a Malmö side last night that just wasn’t that good.
And it showed from the start with their attempted ambulance back-pass to the keeper, which resulted in the gift of an opening goal for the Ibrox heroes.
So, as of today, they are back and on their way to a European final
No doubt, if they beat Hibs on Sunday, we’ll be told they’re back in the League too and coming for us.
I must admit, I’m starting to get worried.
I should’ve known better than to write them off this early.
Looks like I learned my lesson there.
The quadruple is in the bag for them.
That ever elusive “investment” is on it’s way as well.
And they’re coming for us, again!
Our season is over.
I should just accept it.
