Earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio stated Michael Kayode to Brentford is at a very advanced stage.

There’s been new developments in the Bees’ efforts to sign the right-back, according to multiple claims from Italy.

Firenze Viola explain the defender is ‘one step away’ from joining Brentford in the winter market.

Kayode has ‘already accepted’ the English club’s offer, and they will sign him on loan with an option to buy set at €17m. Firenze Viola add ‘all that’s missing’ is for the Serie A side to exchange documents with Brentford.

Sportitalia, via journalist Alfredo Pedullà, bring more updates on the 20-year-old’s move to the Premier League side.

They state Thomas Frank’s side will pay €500,000 in loan fee and the buying option is set at €17.5m. In addition to this, Fiorentina will be entitled [if Brentford buy him] to receive 10% of the fee from his sale in the future.

Pedullà adds the clubs need to sort out the paperwork and the player’s ‘signatures are needed’ to complete this operation. The Italy U21 international will sign the contract once he clears the medical tests with Brentford.
