Ruben Loftus-Cheek has previously had a loan stint at Fulham, and it’s now reported one of the London side, Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest or Newcastle United could bring the midfielder back to England.

The 29-year-old has had a frustrating season at AC Milan, having played only 14 times in Serie A. His game time has been hampered by a raft of injury troubles, having impressed under Stefano Pioli last season.

Now, Calciomercato.it have taken a detailed look at the midfielder’s future in Italy, with Fulham, Aston Villa, Newcastle United and Nottingham Forest getting a mention.

They believe that with Loftus-Cheek having returned from a muscle injury, manager Sergio Conceicao can end up trusting him more for the remainder of the season.

How things go under the Portuguese will determine the player’s future. There is interest from Fulham, Nottingham Forest, Newcastle United and Aston Villa and they could move for him in the summer, if things do not work out under Conceicao.

Saudi Arabia can also become a potential option but the outlet believe that the doors to the Premier League could definitely open again for the versatile player.

Loftus-Cheek’s current deal at Milan runs out in the summer of 2027.
