Alarm bells are starting to go off at Sevilla regarding Kelechi Iheanacho, who is yet to properly feature for them since arriving from Leicester City.

That's according to ABC Sevilla, who say 'alarm bells go off' over the transfer as the Spanish club continue to insist, he arrived from Leicester in good shape.

The newspaper explains that Sevilla have insisted there is no physical problem, weight problem or any other important issue currently bothering the striker.

That, therefore, has led to questions being asked about why one of the big signings of the summer transfer isn't playing a more prominent role.

Some had questioned whether there was an issue with the manager but that has also been dismissed, leading to more questions among the Sevilla fanbase about what is going on.

They had expected the former Leicester man to be a difference maker this season but instead he's been limited to 75 minutes of action so far and left out of the last two games completely.

That has 'set off some alarm bells' but the club continue to insist to ABC that there is nothing wrong and there is no 'physical handicap' bothering the striker. They are simply referring to a need for 'adaptation'.

They believe the striker needs time to adapt to a new country, while he also doesn't know the language, another 'handicap' for him.

The Spanish side are insisting patience is needed and that Iheanacho will be important before too long, but questions are already being asked by fans, who expected much more early on from their big summer arrival.
