Tottenham Hotspur play host to Arsenal this weekend in the North London derby.

Ange Postecglou will be in the process of assessing fitness levels and fatigue following the international break before deciding his starting 11.

With Arsenal missing Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard, Tottenham will certainly feel they can win the midfield battle.

So with that said, Postecoglou should play his wildcard and start a very talented teenager in the middle of the park.

Ange Postecoglou should start Archie Gray vs Arsenal

Postecoglou should seriously consider starting Archie Gray against Arsenal as his profile would suit the game.

A midfield three of Pape Matar Sarr, Gray and James Maddison could be the perfect mix to overcome the visitors.

Gray would bring that added energy and youthful exuberance that Bentancur perhaps lacks whilst still maintaining the technical ability Lucas Bergvall possesses.

Thomas Partey may well be anchoring a midfield of Jorginho and Ethan Nwaneri ahead of him, so Spurs have to consider bringing in runners – who could overrun the aforementioned pair.

The former Leeds man would indeed be making his full debut on the biggest stage but given his prior experiences, like playing in the Championship Play-Off final, he’s ready.

Tottenham vs Arsenal score prediction

Tottenham Hotspur have beaten Arsenal just once in the last five meetings, so recent history is stacked against them.

They haven’t made the best start to the season either, however, the performances have been really encouraging.

If they can find that cutting edge, it should make for a high-scoring affair, so we’ll go with a 3-3 draw.
