Antony next club odds: Man United winger to head to Greece or Spain amid Amorim shuffle

Manchester United could see a few incoming and outgoing players as Ruben Amorim establishes his style at Old Trafford, with one of those likely to go, Antony.

There are short odds for him to depart this January transfer window with any Greek side to sign the Brazilian just favourite ahead of a move to Spain.

After arriving at the club in August of 2022 for a staggering near £80million transfer fee, Antony had a lot of expectations coming into Manchester United as the 13th most expensive player ever, at the time.

Since then, he’s scored just five goals in the Premier League and only a handful across other competitions for the club.

Getting his wage bill off of the books will be a priority for Man United who are cutting costs in all areas at the club.

Many of the cost cuts at Man United have been controversial as Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS methods labelled ‘horrendous’ and ‘soul sucking’.

A move away from Old Trafford will look to suit both the club and player where he has clear interest from around Europe, especially from his time at Ajax.

However, with no single club standing out in the odds yet, a move this month could be prolonged to the end of the window with departures likely amid an Amorim shuffle.
