Arsenal supporters have questioned Martin Odegaard's recent form following his performance against Newcastle on Monday (7 January).
The Gunners were defeated 2-0 after goals from Alexander Isak and Anthony Gordon, leaving the club at a disadvantage heading into the second leg of their EFL Cup semi-final.
The 26-year-old played the entire game against the Magpies on Monday night but was unable to unlock Eddie Howe's team.
The Norway international was unable to make any successful key passes throughout the fixture as he struggled to get into the game.
Odegaard was also only accurate with 25 percent of his crosses as Mikel Arteta's men failed to cause any issues for Newcastle.
The attacking midfielder has only scored once and provided five assists throughout the season after 18 appearances in all competitions.
Arsenal fans are worried about Martin Odegaard
Odegaard suffered an ankle sprain back in September, and some Gunners fans are questioning whether or not he's been able to get back to his finest form.
Fans have claimed that "something's wrong" but he has been "regressing for months" which is an issue that fans want to see resolved.
