Aston Villa transfer allows club to clean up accounts – And then attack January transfer window too

Aston Villa's move for Andrés García will allow Levante to 'clean up' their accounts and even attack the January transfer window.
That's according to El Dia de Cordoba, who report that the Spanish side have secured the 'most important transfer' in the Spanish second division.
García was confirmed as Aston Villa's second signing of the January transfer window today. He has joined the Villans in a €7m deal, with a potential for €2m in bonuses on top.
It's brought an end to the most talked about transfer in the Spanish second division and is being celebrated by Levante. That's because the 'million dollar' sale can be used to great impact.
First the Granota team will be able to 'clean up its accounts' and set themselves up for the future. They will, then, face the rest of the market 'with guarantees'. The 21-year-old's sale has essentially set the Spanish side up for the short-term and the long-term.
Interestingly, though, he will only reach number eight spot in the club's record sales. The number one spot is still held by Jefferson Lerma's €30.5m move to Bournemouth.
Still, it seems the Spanish side are happy with what they've received for their youngster. It now remains to be seen if they can use the money to strengthen themselves.
