Hakim Ziyech’s permanent transfer to Galatasaray hasn’t exactly gone very well. His initial loan switch from Chelsea went ok, however, since that was converted into a permanent transfer he’s struggled to have an impact.

He’s made just 11 appearances for Cimbom this season, scoring no goals, and the 31-year-old is contracted to the Turkish league leaders until next summer.

Last week he was linked with moves to West Ham and Ipswich Town, and now it’s Wolves said to be in the picture.

According to Sunday’s edition of Turkish newspaper Sabah, Ziyech’s agent is in talks with Wolves over a move to the Premier League club.

Due to those talks with Vitor Pereira’s side, it’s explained the player wasn’t been called up for the Göztepe match and didn’t train ahead of it.

This looks like a case of an agent trying to convince Wolves to sign Ziyech, with the player himself thought to be keen on a return to English football.

Whether Wolves will take the bait remains to be seen.
