Belief Nottingham Forest star could break transfer records – English and Spanish giants have him in their sights

Nottingham Forest defender Murillo could break the transfer record for a defender as he is being eyed by Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid.
That's according to UOL, who cover the Brazilian revolution at Nottingham Forest this season and how Murillo is at the centre of it.
They explain that while there are four Brazilians currently in the Nottingham Forest squad, Murillo is really the only regular.
He is one of the 'essential pieces' for Nuno Espirito Santo this season, playing in 27 of the 28 games in the Premier League and playing the full 90 minutes in 26 of them.
The defender is currently the most valued player in the team and is 'in the sights' of Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona and Real Madrid. Any one of that quartet could move for him in the summer.
And if they do there is a belief that he could even break the record for the most expensive defender in the history of football.
Harry Maguire remains the most expensive centre-back in that regard after he joined Manchester United for €87m in 2019. Mathijs de Ligt and Virgil van Dijk complete the top three with fees of €85.5m and €84.65m respectively. Josko Gvardiol is classed as a left back but cost €90m so is technically the most expensive defender.
Either way, it appears Nottingham Forest believe they'll be getting a huge fee for the 22-year-old, who cost just r the 22-year-old, who cost just €12m in 2023.
