Carlos Miguel is living in a 'bitter bad situation' at Nottingham Forest that has proven to be far from the situation he was offered by the Premier League side.

That's according to R7, who say the Brazilian goalkeeper may have been cursed after leaving Corinthians 'through the back door'.

They explain that the curse of Corinthians fans is powerful, and Carlos Miguel may the proof of that at this moment in time.

After 'betraying' Timão and signing with Nottingham Forest, who had promised he would be an absolute starter in England, the goalkeeper has only played one official match since being signed on 9 July.

His only appearance cane in the 1-1 draw with Newcastle United in the EFL Cup and he is nothing but a 'mere reserve' under Nuno Espirito Santo. The Portuguese coach has opted for Matz Sels this season instead.

That hasn't gone unnoticed by Corinthians fans, who remain bitter towards Miguel after his departure in the summer.

Their club had met all of his demands before his departure and agreed to give him a raise and expand his contract as part of that.

However, none of that counted when the 'small England team' promised him a starting position and a 'slightly better salary' to tempt him to the Premier League. He made the move but may now be regretting that choice as he's out of the picture and the 'reality is very different' from what he was sold by Nottingham Forest.
