Daniel Farke will be desperately unhappy as Leeds dropped another two points on the road in a 2-2 draw against QPR on Saturday.

Marti Cifuentes’ side handed Leeds a nightmare start at Loftus Road as Brenden Aaronson‘s awfully sloppy pass was picked off by Koki Saito, who curled a beautiful effort past Illan Meslier.

Just 13 minutes later, Steve Cook forced home a header to make the Whites’ afternoon go from bad to worse, though a Morgan Fox own goal halved the deficit five minutes before half-time.

Junior Firpo was incredibly key in the build-up, forcing the QPR man into the mistake, and it was his teammate on the opposite side of defence, Jayden Bogle who fired home the equaliser.

The two sides could not be separated during the second half, even despite a dominant display from the Whites, and Saito being sent off in the closing stages for his bad foul on Dan James.

Junior Firpo and Jayden Bogle spark Leeds United comeback

Illan Meslier – 5

Unable to keep Leeds from going two goals behind, though nothing he could really do about either goal. Made a couple of saves but a far-from-ideal display.

Jayden Bogle – 9 – Man of the Match

Gave Millwall early warning signs that he would be a goal threat, only to fire past Paul Nardi six minutes in the second half with his fifth goal of the Championship season.

Joe Rodon – 4

Lost his man for Cook’s headed goal, only able to throw his hands up in disgust. A rather poor performance from the Welshman in the centre of defence.

Pascal Struijk – 6

Took an important yellow card to stop a counterattack, continued to win aerial battles in both boxes and caused issues in the final third with his headed effort.

Junior Firpo – 7

Piled the pressure on Fox to help get his team back into the game, proving exactly why Leeds need to hand Firpo a new deal at Elland Road, bagging his 3rd goal in five games.

Brenden Aaronson stinks out Loftus Road

Ao Tanaka – 5

Struggled to have his usual impact on the game, getting a shot off near the end but was unable to stamp his mark at Loftus Park.

Joe Rothwell – 6

Continued probing against the deep QPR backline, attempting passes that only the loanee could see, but it was not to be as Leeds dropped two points.

Dan James – 6

A much brighter display from the Welsh attacker, who really let Leeds down against Millwall, but was unable to get his name on the scoresheet for the first time in six matches.

Brenden Aaronson (Off for Wilfried Gnonto 46′) – 2

The American’s sloppy pass gave QPR a perfect opportunity to open the scoring, continuing his poor form on the pitch over the last few weeks.

Wilfried Gnonto adds fresh legs in closing stages

Manor Solomon (Off for Largue Ramazani 84′) – 7

Continued to offer a dangerous outlet on the left flank, troubling the Rangers’ goalkeeper and causing issues for Jimmy Dunne throughout the 90 minutes.

Joel Piroe – 5

Another player who struggled to get into the action away from Elland Road, with the striker only seeing the ball in limited circumstances.

Substitutes

Wilfried Gnonto (On for Aaronson 46′) – 8

Provided some much-needed fresh legs in the middle of the park, putting his body on the line at both ends of the pitch, with Gnonto showing Farke why he deserves to be starting for Leeds.

Largie Ramazani (On for Solomon 84′) – N/A
