Brentford set big asking price to ward suitors off player – Not interested in January exit

Brentford's Kevi Schade has been offered to Napoli, but the Bees asking price is stopping anything happening around him.
That's according to journalist Florian Plettenberg, who reports that Brentford want €50-60m for the forward.
He states that Schade was offered to Napoli, who are on the market for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratshkelia. The Italians have shown an interest in Schade, but the asking price put on him is considered too high.
That's because Brentford value Schade at €50-60m. They want to ensure they can keep the player in the January transfer window. It is because of that; they've set their asking price so high.
It is this asking price which is also stopping a move to Borussia Dortmund. A transfer to 'appears unlikely' at this moment in time unless there is a major change.
In simpler terms, Brentford are warding off any interest in Schade this month by putting a big asking price on his head. It's worth remember that they paid €25m to sign him from SC Freiburg in 2023.
Now it appears they're determined to ensure they get a major profit if Napoli, Dortmund or anyone else tries to make a move before the end of this month.
