Bruno Fernandes directed a post towards Leny Yoro after his performance in Man United's comeback victory against Lyon.

Yoro and Fernandes are often active on social media, and their mutual respect was evident after a hard-fought win.

Fernandes has been one of the few consistent performers for United this season, with 17 goals and 18 assists in all competitions–nine of which have come in the Europa League alone.

The midfielder is under contract until June 2027, with United also holding the option to extend that by another year, putting them in a strong negotiating position.

With the team languishing in 13th place in the Premier League, United's hopes of European football now rest on success in the Europa League. Amorim will be counting on his captain to keep delivering the kind of performances that could lead them to silverware.
