Brentford are bracing for interest in Bryan Mbeumo in the upcoming summer transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.
Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool are all keeping a close eye on the 25-year-old – who has taken his output to a new level for the Bees this term.
Mbeumo is currently out of contract in June 2026 – with Brentford holding the option to extend his deal a further 12 months.
Sources say the London club would have to break their wage structure to offer the Cameroon international a long-term new contract.

The Bees are also aware it would cost big money to replace both Mbeumo and fellow forward Yoane Wissa in the same window.
Wissa is also out of contract in just over 12 months and Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (18 March) that Brentford are expecting offers for the DR Congo international this summer.

Thomas Frank‘s side are no stranger to selling their top performers and would reinvest the cash if a suitable offer arrives for either player.
Mbeumo has already recorded his best Premier League return this season, hitting 15 goals and notching five assists in 29 top-flight games.
The ex-Troyes star has spent almost six years with Brentford and was promoted with the Bees in 2021.
Everton target Brentford star
Mbeumo and Wissa are not the only Brentford stars with limited time remaining on their contracts, with midfielder Christian Norgaard’s deal set to expire in June.
Football Insider has been told by industry expert Mick Brown that Everton are readying an offer to convince Norgaard to join this summer.
Norgaard, 31, is the captain of Frank's side and scored in the win over Bournemouth on Saturday (15 March).
He has been with the London club since joining from Fiorentina in July 2019.
