Gabriel Magalhaes' future at Arsenal appears to look uncertain after the reports of a possible bid from a club in Saudi Arabia.

Gabriel has been a commanding presence in Arsenal's backline, which has once again been a major strength this season.

With just 24 goals conceded in the Premier League, they currently boast the best defensive record in the division.

However, the Brazilian’s standout performances haven't gone unnoticed. Reports suggest that Al-Nassr are keen on signing Gabriel as part of an ambitious summer move.

Interest from Saudi Arabia is not new but has since re-emerged. Arsenal blocked interest from Saudi Arabia for Gabriel back in 2023, with a £100 million move being touted, and now those links have resurfaced.

Despite the speculation, the defender has shared an update with fans, seemingly unfazed by the rumours surrounding his future.

Arsenal yet to agree new contract with Gabriel amid fresh exit rumours

Gabriel shared a photo of himself at work in training during the international break, accompanied by a simple smiling emoji.

Several Arsenal teammates, including Declan Rice and Bukayo Saka, were among those who liked the post, showing their support for the Brazilian defender.

Since joining in 2021, the 27-year-old has become a key figure in Arteta's side and is now regarded as one of the Premier League's top centre-backs.

However, Football Insider previously revealed that Arsenal opened contract talks with Gabriel earlier this season, but an agreement has yet to be reached.

With his current deal set to expire in two years, speculation over his long-term future is growing—particularly in light of renewed interest from Saudi Arabia.

Arsenal scout Ademola Lookman as forward signing prioritised

Despite the rumours surrounding Gabriel, it would be a major shock if Arsenal entertained any bids for him, given his strong partnership with William Saliba at the heart of their defence.

Instead, the Gunners are expected to prioritise attacking reinforcements in the summer after failing to strengthen their frontline in January.

Football Insider revealed that Arsenal are keeping tabs on Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman as they look to add more firepower.

The club is also monitoring Leroy Sane, making it clear they are in the market for attacking options.

As for Gabriel, he was not distracted by speculation last time out, and Arteta will be hoping he stays just as focused now.
