Liverpool will be eager to get back to action this weekend in pursuit of a fourth Premier League win in a row.

The Reds have been nothing short of fantastic so far this season, winning all three of their opening games and not conceding a single goal.

In addition, Liverpool had the chance to stake an early claim for dominance against a rival, and they did so in style, hammering Manchester United 3-0 at Old Trafford.

Key to Liverpool’s early-season heroics has been Ryan Gravenberch, who has enjoyed a renaissance under Slot at Anfield.

The Dutchman was in and out of the starting XI last season under Jurgen Klopp, but Slot has deployed him as a No. 6 to brilliant effect.

Slot, speaking to the Liverpool media team ahead of Saturday’s Nottingham Forest clash, lifted the lid on Gravenberch’s great form.

Arne Slot says ‘really fit’ Ryan Gravenberch benefits from how Liverpool are playing

On Gravenberch’s efforts to ‘learn’ his new role, Slot replied: “Yeah, learn that position, he’s been a midfielder all his life.

“Maybe he’s playing a bit deeper is the English word I think, a bit lower [and] deeper than he did before, but it’s not that much of a difference.

“I think he, like the other ones who do really well, benefit from how the team is playing.

“Ryan came back strong like many others and [by] stronger I mean really fit.

“He played some good games and took his chance, but I think in general, like the others who score goals, we are talking about the benefits also from a team structure.”
