Celtic Fail With New Midfielder Bid, Rennes 'Came Forward' Yesterday

Celtic have failed with a new bid for Lausanne-Sport star Alvyn Sanches, while Rennes are lurking on deadline day.
The Bhoys have been cranking up their transfer activity as the end of the window approaches and midfielder Sanches is a player they have been trying to sign.
They have so far failed to agree terms with Lausanne-Sport for Sanches and the Swiss side sent them a counter offer on Thursday.
Celtic have made a new bid for Sanches and it sits at the €3m mark, according to Swiss outlet K Media.
Lausanne-Sport though have rejected that proposal as insufficient for the midfielder.
Celtic could go back in with a fresh offer but they now face potentially another issue.
French Ligue 1 side Rennes are keen on Sanches and ‘came forward’ on Thursday to express their interest.
Rennes have not yet put in an offer for Sanches, but that could change on deadline day.
Sanches has been clear in his desire to move on from Lausanne-Sport before the window closes tonight.
