Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has shared an insight into the mood in training at Chelsea amid recent claims of a furious response to standards from manager Enzo Maresca.
After starting the season so well, things have fallen away drastically for the Blues in the past few months, and they are now fighting to qualify for the Champions League.
Meanwhile, the UEFA Conference League is the only tournament where they still have a hope of claiming silverware.
A string of poor performances have also led to calls from Chelsea fans for Maresca to be sacked, and it seems the manager’s mood is not good at this moment in time.
Enzo Maresca left fuming over training performances
Earlier in the week, it was reported that Maresca cancelled a day off for the Chelsea squad after being infuriated by their performance in training.
The Blues boss was far from impressed by the application of members of his senior squad not away on international duty as they were beaten 3-0 by a group of the club’s youth players in a training game.

Despite that, Dewsbury-Hall‘s latest update appears to indicate that there is still something of a positive one.
Taking to his Instagram story on Saturday afternoon (29 March), the Chelsea midfielder posted a picture of himself competing on the pitch with Reece James.
Dewsbury-Hall then captioned that by tagging the right-back, and adding a laughing face and loving emoji, indicating spirits are still high despite those recent events.

James was away from his club over the international break, with the Chelsea ace scoring a stunning free-kick as England beat Latvia.
He therefore ought to have escaped Maresca‘s fury over the training game debacle, although having not been involved in any international matches, Dewsbury-Hall may well have been involved in that game.
You therefore wonder exactly what the Blues boss may make of the midfielder sending messages such as this at a time when the training situation is under such scrutiny.
Dewsbury-Hall was touted for a move away from Chelsea in January amid his lack of game time despite only joining, like Maresca, from Leicester in the summer.
