Chelsea secured a fourth consecutive victory in the Europa Conference League as they ran out 2-0 winners over Heidenheim on Thursday night.
The Blues triumphed in Germany thanks to goals from Christopher Nkunku and Mykhaylo Mudryk, while Filip Jorgensen and Jadon Sancho also played a key role.
The Manchester United loanee played a part in Nkunku’s 51st-minute opener and also provided the assist for Mudryk to make the result safe for Chelsea on 86 minutes.
Sancho now has five assists from just six Blues starts since moving from Old Trafford to Stamford Bridge this summer.
The England international’s display prompted a number of Chelsea fans to send a message to Manchester United during and after the match.

Chelsea fans thank Manchester United for Jason Sancho
Several Chelsea supporters took to X to thank the Red Devils for letting them sign Sancho, as he is doing so well for Enzo Maresca’s side.
Indeed, a few Man United fans also felt their club should not have offloaded Sancho to Chelsea.
Whether Chelsea can sign Sancho permanently
According to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea’s loan deal for Sancho involves an obligation to buy if the Blues finish in the top 14 of the Premier League table.
Romano also claimed in August that the fee starts from £20million guaranteed, but could go up to £25million in add-ons based on performances.
With how Chelsea are doing, it almost seems like a formality that they will be obliged to sign Sancho permanently.
And by the looks of things, the Blues will be getting themselves a real bargain.
