Chelsea star Reece James reacts to Ben Chilwell's update away from Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace left-back Ben Chilwell has taken to social media to post an update during the March international break.
The 28-year-old made the move to Selhurst Park back in the January transfer window, joining on loan until the end of the season.
That came after he had fallen down the pecking order at parent club Chelsea who were even touted to give Chilwell a sizeable pay-off to end his time at Stamford Bridge.
Instead, the left-back joined Oliver Glasner’s side on loan, and he has since been able to rediscover some of his previous impressive form.
Many Crystal Palace fans have already called for Chilwell to be signed on a permanent deal come the summer transfer window.
Ben Chilwell jets off amid England absence
The form he has produced since moving to Selhurst Park had led to some suggestions that Chilwell was in line for a recall to the England squad.
That would have reunited him with his former Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel, who is set to take charge of the Three Lions for the first time this month.

England are set to face Albania and Latvia in two qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, although ultimately Chilwell was not included in the squad.
Instead, the left-back has seemingly taken the opportunity to head off on holiday, with after he took to Instagram to post a series of pictures from a trip to Switzerland.
In response, two players currently still at Chelsea – Reece James and Malo Gusto – liked that post, as did Chilwell’s current Crystal Palace teammate Adam Wharton.

Chilwell has shown himself to be a key player since linking up with Oliver Glasner’s side, helping them to some strong as they look to finish the campaign strongly.
Even so, it was perhaps no surprise that he was not included in the Three Lions squad for this particular international break.
Prior to his move to Crystal Palace, the left-back had not played any sort of football for a long time after finding himself out of the picture at Chelsea.
With that in mind it made little sense to include him this time around while he is still rebuilding his match fitness and sharpness.
Despite that, if he continues to impress as he has done since moving to Crystal Palace he will be in a good position for a recall in the future, especially given he already knows Tuchel well.
