Leeds United will not have a player they have loaned out sent back to them in the January transfer window, which is fast approaching, according to journalist Harry Watkinson.

The Whites saw an exodus of loan players in the summer of 2023 as the likes of Robin Koch, Marc Roca, Diego Llorente, Rasmus Kristensen and Luis Sinisterra all moved.

Jack Harrison also went, to Everton, and though Leeds did not suffer a similar exodus this recent summer, the winger again headed for the Toffees on a temporary deal.

Everton are struggling in the Premier League this season and it has been suggested they could send him back to Leeds next month.

However, there appears to be no truth to those rumours and Harrison is set to last the full length of his loan deal.

The Merseyside club are currently short on players and a lack of squad depth is a key reason they do not want to let him go.

The Leeds-contracted star will be looking to play his way into form and make a difference for Everton in their coming games.

Leeds have him tied down with a contract until the summer of 2028 but their ability to secure promotion to the top-flight might be key to keeping him at Elland Road.
